Abour RDA
The Rural Development Academy (RDA), Bogura, is a national training and research institute established in 1974 to promote rural development in Bangladesh. It works through training, research, and practical field projects to improve the socio-economic conditions of rural communities. RDA’s activities follow a participatory approach, where local people are involved in planning and implementation. Its vision is to create a prosperous and self-reliant rural society, while its mission focuses on providing training, conducting applied research, and introducing innovative technologies to promote rural progress. The main objectives of RDA are to develop skilled manpower, test and promote development models, strengthen rural institutions, and contribute to poverty reduction and sustainable rural transformation.
